A motorcyclist was killed in an accident with a passenger car Monday evening, Sherman Police said.
On Monday 08-18-2025 at 8:33 p.m., Sherman Police said they were dispatched to the 1200 block of Vietnam Veterans Parkway in reference to a major vehicle accident.
Police said that a motorcycle collided with a passenger car.
Police said the motorcycle was discovered deceased at the scene of the accident
Upon arrival, officers located the driver of the motorcycle who was deceased.
Police did not provide the name of the deceased motorcycle rider on their Facebook post but they did say the next of kin were notified.
Initial information indicated the motorcycle was traveling eastbound when it struck the passenger car, which was
turning to proceed westbound, Sherman, Tx., Police said.
Police said that the driver of the passenger car sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Sherman PD said they are investigating the accident and the investigation is being led by their Critical Accident Investigation Team.
