DENISON –The Texas Department of Public Safety said a driver of a concrete Mixer was killed after a fatal crash in Grayson County. Police said the accident occurred in Denison, Texas Monday morning.
A press release from DPS said that on August 18, 2025, at 11:40 a.m., Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on FM-1417 and Refuge Rd in Grayson County.
A Concrete Mixer was hit by a Toyota Tundra Truck
A preliminary investigation indicated that a 2025 Toyota Tundra was traveling eastbound on Refuge Rd and a 2021 International Concrete Mixer was traveling northbound on FM-1417. The driver of the Toyota Tundra disregarded the stop sign and struck the Concrete Mixer, DPS said.
Dylan Mathews, a 29-year-old from Denison, TX who was the driver of the Toyota Tundra was not injured, DPS said.

The driver of the Concrete Mixer, Enrique Martinez Jr, a 26-year-old from Sherman, TX, was flown to Texoma Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries, Texas Department of Public Safety said.
This investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available, The DPS press release said.
