SHERMAN, TX-The Austin College Kangaroos women’s soccer team blanked the Lyon College Scots 3-0 Saturday at Jerry E. Apple Stadium.
The Roos exploded for all 3 of their goals in the second half.
Lily Davidson, Rylie Balderas and Myles McGaha scored the goals for the Roos. McGaha scored her goal with a header that sent the crowd of over 325 into a frenzy.
Roos defense was flawless
Kieran McFarland played goal keeper for the Roos and she and the defensive players kept the Scots (1-1) scoreless in what was a flawless performance by the entire Roos team.
The Roos (1-1) are led by head coach Kevin Gregory.
The Austin College Women’s soccer team will be in action again on Friday at Texas College. The game will kickoff at 1 p.m.
