The Richardson, Tx., Police Public Safety Expo has been deemed a huge success by everyone who attended. Texas News Sports covered the event held September 20th at Huffhines Park in Richardson.
Families had the unique opportunity to connect with their local first responders and get an up-close look at the equipment used to keep Richardson safe—including Richardson Fire Department fire trucks and ambulances, the Police Department’s SWAT Bearcat vehicle, and a wide variety of police patrol vehicles.
The landing of a medical helicopter was a major highlight
One of the highlights of the day was the dramatic landing of a medical helicopter, giving attendees a rare, firsthand look at this life-saving resource.
Miss Texas and Miss Teen Texas were also at the star studded affair that drew hundreds if not thousands.

Special guests Chase from Paw Patrol and Nat the Knight, the National Night Out mascot, brought joy to the kids and helped promote the Richardson Polices upcoming National Night Out event.

“Our Public Safety Expo was a wonderful success, made even more special by the perfect weather and an incredible turnout from our community, Richardson Police officer David Beregszaszy said. “The Expo truly reflected the strong partnership between our first responders and the community they proudly serve.”
