Thy University of Mary Hardin Baylor Crusaders shut out the Austin College Kangaroos 3-0 in men’s soccer Saturday night at Dr. Jack R. Pierce Memorial Complex in Sherman, Tx.
Peyton Hoyt scored the Crusaders first goal with 15:20 remaining in the first half. Yannis Benae increased UMHB’s lead to 2-0 with a goal with 4:15 remaining in the half. The score was University of Mary Hardin Baylor 2, the Austin Kangaroos 0 at the half.
UMHB scored their third goal late in the second half
Alex Bethke scored the Crusaders (3-0-2) third and final goal with 5:58 remaining in the game. The final score on the scoreboard read, University of Mary Hardin Baylor 3, Austin College 0.
The Kangaroos men’s soccer team (1-1-1) will be on the road till September 26th.
