Fort Worth Police Seek Public’s Help After Fatal Hit-and-Run on Loop 820

FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth police said investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash earlier this month.

According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the incident happened Sunday, May 3, 2026, at about 10:30 a.m. on East Loop 820.

Police said a pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway when he was struck by a white vehicle that may have been an SUV or pickup truck. Authorities said the driver did not stop after the collision and left the scene.

Fort Worth police said the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
