SHERMAN, Texas — A portion of the southbound U.S. Highway 75 frontage road in Sherman is scheduled to close beginning next week as part of a long-term construction project.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the affected stretch runs from FM 691/Grayson Drive to Loy Lake Road. Crews are expected to begin work Monday morning to rebuild approximately two miles of pavement.
Closure will remain in place for a while
Officials say the closure will remain in place for an extended period, with the frontage road not anticipated to reopen until late June 2027.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, seek alternate routes, and allow extra travel time while construction is underway.
