ADDISON, Texas — Police in Addison said they are investigating the death of an unidentified man. They said that they are asking for the public’s help in determining his identity.
Officers responded around 4:45 a.m. April 13 to a report of an unresponsive person in the 3900 block of Vitruvian Way, according to the Addison Police Department.
Individual pronounced dead at the scene
When first responders arrived, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. Authorities said the man has not yet been identified but is described as a young adult white male of average height with a lean build and brown hair.
Police said the man was wearing a gray T-shirt, blue athletic pants and white socks. He was also reported to have been wearing a gold necklace and a pink band on his left wrist.
Investigators said there is no immediate threat to the public. The case remains under investigation in coordination with the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office. The official cause and manner of death have not been determined.
Authorities are urging anyone with information that could assist in identifying the individual to contact the Addison Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division at 972-450-7169.
Police said efforts are ongoing to identify the man and notify his family.
