TEXARKANA, Texas — Harvest Regional Food Bank will host its 20th annual Wine and Jazz Gala on Friday, March 13, at the historic Silvermoon on Broad in downtown Texarkana.
The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 4:30 p.m., followed by gourmet food and wine pairings at 6 p.m. The fundraising event will feature live music from Candace Taylor & Trio along with tastings prepared by several local restaurants.
Participating food vendors include Julie’s Deli & Market, Naaman’s Championship BBQ, Benchmark, Lagniappe Specialty Meats, and Graham Slam Bakery.
Wine and Jazz Gala will feature a silent auction
Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction and a Wine Pull, where a $25 donation gives attendees a chance to win a bottle of wine valued at more than $100.
The event is presented by the Patterson-Troike Foundation and Robbins Toyota. Additional sponsors include TEXAR Federal Credit Union, State Bank, Ledwell Sons and Enterprises, Wholesale Electric Supply Co., Cooper Tire, the Bobbie Arnold Atkinson Foundation, the Cabe Cook Foundation, and Dr. Ly and Aaron Gaylor.

Tickets for the event are $100, and reservations are encouraged. Tickets may be purchased online, by phone through Harvest Regional Food Bank, or in person at the organization’s office in Texarkana.
Proceeds from the gala will support hunger relief programs operated by Harvest Regional Food Bank, which distributes food across nine counties in southwest Arkansas and Bowie County, Texas through a network of partner churches, shelters, and community organizations.
The nonprofit also operates mobile pantry distributions, school pantry and backpack programs, and senior food box initiatives aimed at helping families, students and older adults facing food insecurity.
