A man has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault Cause Serious Bodily Injury after allegedly stabbing a man in Sherman, Tx., Tuesday night.

Sherman Police said that on Tuesday 12-23-2025 at 10:56pm, Sherman Police were dispatched to the 800-block of South Walnut Street in reference to a reported stabbing.

Officers said that they located an adult male with multiple, serious stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive, Sherman Police Department said.
Sherman Police said that officers learned the victim was involved in an earlier argument with 30-year old Adrian Jimenez in the 500-block South Walnut Street. During that encounter, Jimenez displayed a knife, and the victim fled to the 800-block of South Walnut Street. Sherman Police said.

Jimenez later arrived at that location and initiated another confrontation, during which he stabbed the victim before fleeing the scene. Sherman Police said.
Authorities said that Jimenez was located on South Montgomery Street. Police said that Jimenez was intoxicated and uncooperative. He was arrested for Aggravated Assault Cause Serious Bodily Injury and transported to the Grayson County Jail. Sherman Police said.
